influence peddling by biden family going on for a while now. tied to allegations of joe biden abusing his power in public office. that's the accusation. hunter biden declined the chance to give his side of the story publicly as he had previously requested. >> dana: two of the people you will hear from jason galanis, a convicted felon. he faced charges on federal fraud appearing remotely from jail today and then there is tony bobulinski, the name you might be more familiar with. hunter's ex business partner previously testified that president biden enabled hunter to sell access to america's add veer source. he says the impeachment inquiry last uncovered plenty of evidence pointing toward corruption. >> this hearing was an opportunity for hunter biden to come before this hearing with tony bobulinski, devon archer and mr. galanis of how they had

congressman comer, the chairman, has this from his opening statement. the scam is simple. the biden family promises they can make a foreign partner's problems go away by engaging with the u.s. government. done over and over again. the biden family promises joe's power, joe biden shows up and millions of dollars come into the biden pockets. joe biden is the biden family closer. that's his message. is it landing? what can they do today to plow any new ground? >> you've got people who have firsthand knowledge of that. the president has denied when he was vice president that he even had a discussion with these things. these two people, one testifying from jail jason galanis and then the other one, tony bobulinski, are saying i was there in person. i had direct communication with him. which flies directly in the face of what joe biden and hunter biden and jim biden have always told us, they were never involved. yet there are receipts by the

7:07 am
impeachment? they're having this hearing today. about to go into recess for another two weeks. the republican nominee is set. president biden, do they think one, either persuade anybody that don't already believe that biden is corrupt? i wonder about the time they're taking to do these things. >> well, the reason we're having to redo this is because hunter biden failed to show last time. that's why they have to do it a second time. and look, there are core questions. i would love to have had them ask when you went to mexico, hunter biden, why did you bring jeff, your business partner, on air force two? why was that allowed to happen? why was there millions of dollars coming from this russian oligarch and again you will hear testimony coming here there was direct interaction from joe biden. all of these things. why are there millions of dollars flowing into the biden's bank accounts? did you get a defensive briefing
7:08 am
that was coming from the f.b.i. or somebody else, is secret service warning you of these types of things? there are so many questions and so many to be answered and that's what you do when you pursue the truth. it's what they do in this country. >> bill: let us know when something is significant and we'll bring it to our viewers, okay? stand by. james comer is in his chair and about to get underway. >> dana: they start on time. you have to admire it. >> bill: while that's about to get underway. president biden is under scrutiny by house republicans. he almost certain -- his almost certain challenger is facing legal and financial troubles of his own. former president trump has five days to secure a $454 million bond in the new york civil fraud against him. has there ever been a bond this high in american legal history? do we know that answer? >> we don't have the exact answer for that, bill.
7:09 am
it seems no. potentially the reason for that is critics would say because there hasn't been a fraud as high as this, a fraud that the judge engoron found. that's the reason critics say this bond is that high. despite that the former president now defending his business because the clock is ticking down to his potentially losing a lot of it. he faces a deadline in five days. next monday to come up with that $454 million bond or have his assets seized by new york attorney general. half a billion bond covers the judgment imposed by judge engoron last month after he ruled that trump and his company committed years of fraud from illegally inflating their assets to get better terms on loans. >> we're fighting it out. we have a lot of cash and a great company. they want to take it away or at least take the cash element away. billions of dollars in value, billions of dollars in properties, but they would like to take the cash away so i can't
7:10 am
use it on the campaign. >> the former president is asking the appeals court to stay the penalty until his appeals are exhausted and accuses attorney general james of prosecuting him for political reasons. lawyers we talked to say she is acting appropriately under the law which says when judge engoron issued the civil fraud penalty james by law has no choice other than to go after trump's assets to pay that penalty. >> there is nothing political about it. this is a valid judgment entered by a court with jurisdiction over the matter and she is proceeding in the routine course in seeking enforcement. >> experts say if mr. trump cannot come with the cash he can declare bankruptcy. trump's atlanta city hotels and resorts declared bankruptcy in the late 90s and early 2000s to. that was 15 years ago. >> bill: monday will be a big day. >> see what happens unless the

country. i hope the american people will pay close attention to this hearing. i also hope they will understand that some members of this committee will engage in absurd attacks and efforts to try to deflect attention from the facts and i will present today by questioning my integrity and my patriotic duty. you may see me speak passionately at this hearing for good reason. not only was i willing to die for this country. every member of my family was willing to die for this country. i want to be crystal clear from my direct personal experience and what i've learned it is clear to me that joe biden was the brand being sold by the biden family. his family's foreign influence peddling operation from china and ukraine and elsewhere sold out foreign actors to gain access to joe biden and the united states government. joe biden was more than a participant and a beneficiary of the family's business. he was an active, aware enabler
7:44 am
who met with business associates such as myself to further the business despite trying to maintain plausible deniability. i ask the question. if there is no evidence of corruption here today. if joe's conduct and the conduct of his family were legal and proper, why are they so dishonest about it? not just slight misrepresentations of fact but deep untruths about the entire corrupt enterprise. hunter biden gave his transcribed interview on february 28th and lied throughout his testimony. here is just one example of hunter's perjury. he lied to the committee on important details concerning his money demands and threats to cfc in text messages on july 30th and 31st, 2017. leveraged his father's next to him in the text to strong arm cfc to paying hunter immediately. jim biden lied extensively
7:45 am
throughout his transcribed interview on february 21st and perjured himself. an example of that on page 100 of his transcript jim is asked specifically do you recall having a meeting with hunter biden, tony bobulinski and joe biden? jim's response, absolutely not. the committee was so shocked by his perjury that they asked him the same question multiple times. each time he denied meeting with me and joe biden. after the committee showed him text messages confirming that i met with joe biden, hunter biden, and jim biden at the beverly hilton in may 2017. jim biden still denied that meeting took place. hunter biden in his own transcribed interview confirmed that that meeting took place. hunter confirmed his uncle perjured himself in front of this committee. i'm simply here to tell the truth to the american people and

i hope each and every one of you, congressmen and women give me the opportunity to do that instead of focusing on russia or smearing my family's name or focusing on facts that are irrelevant today. i yield back. >> thank you. >> parliamentary inquiry. two points. one is i believe mr. bobulinski went over two minutes and 14 seconds. >> we will give mr. parnas equal time. >> we now have a witness appearing remotely. i thought that witnesses were required to appear in person under the rules adopted by the majority at the beginning of the congress and do we have a new practice with respect to that rule? because i know that members on our side were denied the ability to participate in hearings that were conducted in florida and mississippi and alabama. we wanted to participate by zoom. >> i will answer that. it requires to be able to testify remotely requires a letter from me and to the

this country. from shortly after my arrest on october 9, 2019, to now, i have been trying to share the truth with you. the american people have been lied to by donald trump, rudy giuliani and various cohorts of individuals in government and media positions. they created falsehoods to serve their own interests knowing it would undermine the strength of our nation. from november 2018 to october 2019 i was a key participant and witness to numerous efforts to prove that joe and hunter biden were linked to corruption in ukraine. rudy giuliani on behalf of then president donald trump tasked me to find dirt on the bidens to sprained misinformation about them thus securing the 2020 he recollection for trump. when i was arrested i was linked to an individual as unindicted co-conspirator one.
7:50 am
pete sessions who sits on this committee today. today i ask you to consider the following. in nearly a year traveling the world and interviewing officials in different countries i found precisely 0 evidence of biden's corruption in ukraine. no credible sources provided proof of criminal activity. not the f.b.i., c.i.a., nor nsa. no respectable ukraine official said the bidens did anything illegal including former president and former prosecutor. even when ceo burisma was offered a deal by rudy giuliani in exchange for information on the bidens, he provided none because there is none. no information ever pushed on the bidens in ukraine has come from one source and one source only, russia and russian agents. impeachment proceedings that bring us here now are predicated on false information spread by the kremlin.

everyone involved knew -- >> bill: this bit of a preview now. this hearing will be hot. stand by for more. want to bring in jess watters sitting patiently to our left watching this as well. he has a brand-new book called get it together. the only reason why he gets up this early today. jesse, good morning to you. your take on what you are watching now. >> bobulinski was strong and came in and said joe biden's brother lied, hunter lied, in these deposition. he had meetings with joe biden at the four seasons in los angeles and if everything was kosher, why is the biden family blatantly lying. investigators asked hunter biden did you pay for your father's household expenses over 100 times? hunter biden said i don't know. i can't answer. a lot of unanswered questions so far. >> dana: another one being about the loan supposedly from joe biden to his brother and i don't
7:52 am
know what you think of that. >> the accountant who joe never paid said there was no evidence that he had seen. he handled all of joe biden's finances no loan given. >> bobulinski came ready to play. the allegation he delivered toward the and of that statement about hunter biden proved his uncle jim biden lied. republicans would be well off if they would put these -- this transcript he is referring to on a board, on an easel so people can take it if for themselves. >> we saw with the january 6th commission how they had a lot of bells and whistles. they produced these hearings with the help of some hollywood production people and i'm not saying they have to go fox news style but you do have to show some sort of visual evidence to keep the audience engaged. maybe a bill hemmer montage.
7:53 am
>> bill: at the billboard. i would offer that republicans don't run these hearings nearly as well as democrats do. >> yes. they still don't even have the off shore banking records. they still do not have the credit card records. so we're still waiting to see about 50% of the financial records that they have haven't been able to get their hands on. once you have all of that, you have the checking accounts, you have off shore and credit cards that's when you put up a nice big collage and just show everybody how it all connects. it should be pretty simple. every time they're given diamonds they lose them. that might be hard to show. >> dana: what about hunter eva's strategy or game? he is coming to the hearing, not coming to the hearing. demands a public hearing and won't show up at the hearing. have they be led by the nose. >> we knew it would be a stunt when he pretended d he wanted t be there.
7:54 am
now when he can be there he is a no show. he doesn't want to have to answer questions in public. his father doesn't want to answer questions in public. every time his father answers a questions about it he lied. he said my family never took any money from china. why am i holding this up? hold it together. they took money. >> bill: on page 49 of your new book get it together you write if men would just say no more often, america would be in better shape. >> we found when i interviewed all of these people -- i'm talking two dozen of some of the most radical liberal fringe activists we are talking people that want to legalize drugs, statue toplers, the common denominator was they didn't have fathers going up. a bar stool father or no dad at all. fathers are there to say no, they are there to say get it
7:55 am
together. when you bring up children without any boundaries they start lashing out and they become adolescents in their 30s and 40s and that's what we are dealing with now. not only fathers can't say no, society can't say no. judges and teachers can't say no. we just have to say get it together. >> dana: i loved the book. congratulations. >> bill: thank you very much. >> dane." we'll be right back. >> bill: oral arguments set to begin in moments with this texas border security law that was put on pause. so this back and forth, this legal ping-pong. we'll tell you where it stands as of now coming up. a home loan because of your credit? here's great news. at newday we've been granted automatic authority by the va to make our own loan approval decisions. in fact, if you've had credit challenges and missed a payment along the way, you're more than five times more likely to get approved for the newday 100 va cash out loan. no one knows veterans like newday usa.
